You’ll find that eating at the H F Bar Ranch is a fantastic social and delicious experience. The casual but attentive atmosphere of our service, plus our rustic gourmet style, combined with your friends and family — both new and old — make each meal an occasion to enjoy. A fine selection of wine and beer is available from the Dining Room staff to be placed on your table at meals.
The Ranch bell rings three times a day calling you to the Dining Room, or the outdoor barbecues, for delectable meals and fine hearty table fare to please most palates. Of course, let us know if you or your party have special dietary needs and requests. Our trained team of skilled chefs prepare a sundry array of “home cooked” foods, fresh baked goods, sizzling breakfasts, and a “Kiddie Bar” for the young ones (of all ages!) who just want to eat and run.
The Dining Room is a place to relax and refresh yourself, to share the stories of the day and to re-energize for all of the activities ahead. Our Office staff will note your special diet considerations and we will accommodate most any need.
We want you to completely enjoy your time on the HF Bar Ranch. Dinners are set up so that you can eat leisurely and be out in time for the evening ride. Others choose to skip the evening ride and gather round their tables to mingle and recap the events of the day. The Dining Room echoes with laughter as people describe their various adventures of the day!
Meal Hours:
Meals are served during these times:
Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Lunch: 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Dinner: 6:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.
(later after August 25 when we switch to afternoon riding)
A Tasty Reminder:
For hungry snackers, the HF Bar Kitchen has an open door policy with regard to making ice cream cones, sandwiches or little snack items. Just as handy, HF Bar’s Chef and Baker leave a shelf with items that are leftover from dinner for those who might need a midnight snack. There is always a bowl of cereal or a piece of fruit available. Like any other kitchen raid, we ask that you clean up after yourselves and NO COOKING in the Ranch Kitchen! Also, the Ranch Store has a delivery service, if you would like snacks or beverages delivered to your cabin.
